Video for Skype

If you don't know what Skype is, where have you been? It's a Voice over IP system that you can use to not only talk to other PCs for free - just the cost of your internet connection time to consider, but also to talk directly to landlines once you've set up a "Skype-Out" account. You can even get a 'normal' telephone handset to use instead of your PC's microphone - essential for privacy unless you enjoy everyone in the room hearing both sides of your conversation.

Well, now there is a 'free' video plugin to allow video conferencing (2 videos in one screen and full screen video mode) and it looks like it could do very well, with 200,000 downloads in its first week. Head on over to HomeSpontania to check it out.
